Tactical Response Academy
Tactical Response Academy provides driver education training for civilian drivers as well as emergency responders and government employees. When they wanted to develop an on-line training system make certain aspects of their curriculum available to a broader audience, they called Code-Monkeys.
Blending Flash and MySQL, we developed a robust application framework to deliver text, audio and video assets to students that tracks when a user has completed various segments and tests the users at the end of each module - delivering a certificate of completion when the student has demonstrated sufficient knowledge of the delivered material.
The back end of the system allows authorized users to manage corporate clients, online credit card transactions and track individualized 'coupons' that prevent a user from sharing training with others without purchasing a new copy.
Overall, the system has become a major part of Tactical Response Academy's online business model and accounts for a significant portion of annual.
